Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining our patients' oral health. You will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to provide quality care and education to our patients.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Conduct patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review- Maintain infection control protocols in the dental clinic- Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient records management- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient workflow- Apply aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment- Assist with dental terminology and patient communication
Skills:
Required:- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry- Strong knowledge of infection control practices- Experience working in a dental clinic setting- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software- Ability to take vital signs and conduct patient assessments
Nice-to-have:- Knowledge of medical records management- Skill in aseptic technique application- Understanding of dental terminology- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively
