Job Description

Duties:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials- Proficiency in medical imaging and taking dental x-rays- Familiarity with pediatric dental care is a plus- Strong understanding of anatomy and oral health- Excellent infection control practices- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental charting- Ability to take vital signs accurately- Proficient in maintaining detailed medical documentation
