OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our well established fee for service dental office. We have state of the art dental equipment in our updated modern office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality customized dental care and education to our patients using a variety of services while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. This role requires proficiency in various dental systems and techniques, including Eaglesoft, as well as a solid understanding of anatomy and medical records management. we hope to find a candidate who encompasses the 5 core values of this office; commitment to learning, detail drive, a go-Get-em additude, positive perseverance and kind heart-gentle hands.
Responsibilities- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient treatments and procedures.- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.- Utilize medical imaging technology to capture diagnostic images for evaluation, including intraoral images, CBCT and digital BWS/PA's.- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.- Proficiency in Eaglesoft is preferred.- Familiarity with medical records management in a dental clinic setting.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental hygiene practices is essential.- Previous experience assisting in a clinical environment is a plus.
