OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to support various dental procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatment plans.
Utilize 3D scanners and medical imaging technologies to aid in diagnostics and treatment planning.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures.
Support pediatric dentistry by creating a comfortable atmosphere for younger patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques with a solid understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for managing medical records and scheduling appointments.
Knowledge of endodontics procedures is preferred but not required.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, enhancing our ability to cater to younger patients.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
