OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional support to both patients and dentists. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques.
Perform four-handed dentistry by anticipating the needs of the dentist during procedures.
Take and develop medical imaging as required for patient assessments.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic as needed, including acting as a dental receptionist when required.
Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and equipment.

ExperienceCandidates should possess:

Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures, with experience in a dental clinic setting preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining aseptic techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
