Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning and polishing teeth, as well as applying fluoride treatments.- Examine patients' teeth and gums to identify any potential oral health issues, and provide personalized recommendations for oral care and hygiene.- Take vital signs and review medical records to ensure patient safety and to identify any potential health risks.- Utilize medical imaging technologies to diagnose and treat dental conditions.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation of all patient visits.- Implement and maintain infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations.- Collaborate with dentists and other oral health care professionals to provide comprehensive care.- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on how to maintain a healthy smile.- Stay current with the latest dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in dental hygiene or a related field.- Current licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the state.- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and a commitment to staying current with the latest developments in the field.- Experience working with patients of all ages- Proven ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records.- Familiarity with computerized dental systems and the ability to learn new software quickly.- Commitment to adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the highest standards of infection control.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
License/Certification:

Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred)
