*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures and perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties. *Responsibilities* - Prepare patients for dental work - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies *Skills* - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Proficiency in managing medical records - Familiarity with medical terminology - Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems - Understanding of endodontics and pediatrics dentistry - Ability to perform four-handed dentistry efficiently - Competence in medical imaging techniques - Proficient in dental terminology
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $22.86 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
