Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring a smooth operation within the dental clinic. A strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft and Epic is essential for success in this position.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Qualifications
Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is required.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is preferred.
Familiarity with prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
