Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and education while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety. You will work closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional services in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by supporting the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols.
Utilize medical coding for proper billing and insurance claims processing.
Provide pediatric dental care, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques.
Operate dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management.
Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
ExperienceCandidates should possess a valid dental hygiene license and have experience in general dentistry practices. Familiarity with patient care techniques, infection control measures, and dental software systems is highly desirable. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, as well as knowledge of medical records management and medical coding practices. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
