Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

Lead and Manage Technicians: Supervise and mentor part-time technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of dental cases.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of all final work, ensuring that it meets the highest quality standards and client specifications.
Case Analysis: Interpret and analyze scripts and notes received from dentists to ensure precise execution of each case.
Model Preparation: Pour and prepare study models from alginate impressions with precision.
Technical Execution: Perform advanced dental techniques including but not limited to: Custom Trays, Bite Blocks, Wax Try-ins, Acrylic Processing, Flippers, Metal Framework, Relines and Repairs (including reinforcement, adding teeth, etc.)
Leadership and Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for technical guidance within the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices and processes within the lab.
Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned, contributing to the lab’s overall success.

Skills and Abilities Required:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced dental laboratory techniques and procedures as listed above.
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
Time Management: Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient workflow and timely case completion.
Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly and effectively for precise communication with team members and clients.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
Manual Dexterity: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for delicate and precise work.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician, with demonstrated expertise in advanced dental techniques.
Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a dental lab is preferred, but not required.
