Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:45 AM ââ¬â 6:00 PM (Lunch break: 1:00 PM ââ¬â 2:00 PM)
Thursday: 7:45 AM ââ¬â 5:00 PM (Lunch break: 12:00 PM ââ¬â 1:00 PM)
Closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent dental care to our patients. You will be responsible for performing routine and comprehensive dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in providing exceptional care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings) for patients, including adults and pediatric patients, based on individual needs.
Complete periodontal charting, take radiographs (X-rays), and assess patient oral health.
Conduct patient health assessments and discuss medical histories with patients to provide the best care.
Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, preventative care, and the proper use of dental products.
Perform non-surgical periodontal treatments and assist in periodontal therapy when needed.
Provide detailed notes in patient charts and maintain accurate records in our practice management system.
Ensure sterilization and infection control procedures are followed according to office standards.
Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to deliver personalized care.
Manage patient schedules effectively, ensuring a comfortable and timely visit.
Qualifications:
Current, valid dental hygienist license in Michigan.
Proven experience as a dental hygienist, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and treatments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
A patient-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent care.
Proficiency in dental software and electronic charting systems.
Experience in a fee-for-service private practice is a plus, but not required.
