Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental Software.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that meet patient needs.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in dental terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in general dentistry practices and pediatric care is preferred.
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively.
Experience with Open dental management software is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
