About us
We are a 1 Dentist well established private practice. We have a friendly supportive team and are in need of replacing our assistant of 30+ years! We are looking for an assistant to work Monday-Wednesday.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
**Qualifications:**
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Proficiency in Dentrix
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical coding practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
