Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Perform dental charting and take digital x-rays- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments- Update and maintain patient dental records accurately- Follow all infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines
Requirements- Associate degree in Dental Hygiene- Valid state hygiene license- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software (will train)- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures and terminology- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health- Familiarity with medical imaging, anatomy, and patient assessment- Experience working in a dental clinic with Epic or electronic medical records is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27 per week
