Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting orthodontic procedures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping others, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and equipment according to aseptic techniques.
Take dental X-rays and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist with pediatric patients to ensure they feel comfortable during their visits.
Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Experience
Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or in a similar dental role is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, along with knowledge of medical records management.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
