Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist and a Certified Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures, including extractions, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. The Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest standards of dental health and hygiene are maintained.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patientsââ¬â¢ oral health.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, dental extractions, oral surgery, and pediatric care.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record-keeping.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
Experience
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to oral health.
Experience with dental fabrication processes is a plus.
Familiarity with infection control standards and practices within a clinical setting.
Previous experience in pediatrics is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
