Ridgetop Dental is seeking a dynamic and experienced Dental Assistant to join our established practice. Responsibilities:
As a key member of our dental team, the Dental Assistant will be responsible for:
Digital Radiographs: Utilizing knowledge and experience in digital radiography to enhance patient diagnostics.
Patient Comfort and Care: Creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients before, during, and after dental treatment.
Treatment Procedure Assistance: Assisting the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures with efficiency and precision.
Patient Preparation: Preparing patients for procedures or examinations with attention to their comfort and well-being.
Instrument Sterilization: Ensuring the sterilization of instruments and adherence to all safety policies.
Schedule Management: Working efficiently to maintain the doctor's schedule and contribute to a smooth workflow.
Patient Support Services: Providing personalized assistance and medical attention to patients as needed.
Inventory Management: Maintaining dental supplies inventory, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as necessary.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following:
Team Work, Communication and Leadership skills
Previous Dental Assistant Experience: Two - years of Proven experience in dental assisting, with a strong understanding of clinical procedures.
X-ray Certification: Certification in digital radiography with a commitment to maintaining compliance.
Treatment Familiarity: Familiarity with cosmetic, restorative, and minor surgery treatments; on-the-job training provided for cosmetic and surgeries.
Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities to facilitate efficient patient care.
Dental Practice Management Software: Knowledge of dental practice management software is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate.
