Job Description

Duties:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations- Administer local anesthesia as needed
-Assist in seeing and discussing treatment with New Patients.- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment- Document patient treatment plans and progress in dental software Dentrix.
-1 Hour per Patient.
Requirements:- Valid dental hygienist license in MD- Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix.- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment
Note: Experience with specific software systems like Dentrix is desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 36.00 per week
