Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing a variety of dental hygiene services, ensuring their comfort, and providing education on maintaining oral health. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people and creating positive dental experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth
Conduct oral health assessments and screenings for cavities, gum diseases, and other dental conditions
Take and develop dental X-rays
Educate on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing and flossing
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to prevent tooth decay
Sterilize dental instruments and maintain hygiene protocols
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive care
Keep accurate records of patient care and treatments
Help create a positive and comforting atmosphere for patients

Qualifications:

Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Fluency in Spanish is required
Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
CPR/BLS certification
Experience working with all ages is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients and their families in a compassionate manner
Knowledge of dental software and technology is an asset – Open Dental
