Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use.- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.- Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.
Experience- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.- Familiarity with medical terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations is essential.- Experience with endodontics is a plus.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are required.
