Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive dental care, with a focus on children’s oral health.
Diagnose and develop treatment plans using advanced clinical and radiological techniques.
Educate patients and parents about oral health, promoting healthy habits for children.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-focused environment.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and industry regulations.
Coordinate referrals to dental specialists when needed to ensure comprehensive care.


Requirements:

A passion for pediatric dentistry and improving kids' oral health.
DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
A license (active or pending) issued by the state board of dental examiners.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a desire for ongoing professional growth.
Excellent organizational skills and in-depth knowledge of dentistry.


A Typical Day in the Practice:

Operative Care: Treat approximately 10 patients, performing procedures such as stainless steel crowns (SSCs), NuSmile anterior crowns, composite restorations, space maintainers, extractions, protective stabilization, and nitrous oxide administration.
Emergency Visits: Handle emergency patient care when necessary.
Hygiene Exams: Conduct around 25 hygiene exams daily.
Team Collaboration: Mentor and work alongside dental externs, assistant externs, and other team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
