Job SummaryThe Clinical Support Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing patient care and supporting clinical operations within a dental clinic. This position involves assisting dental professionals in various procedures, ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental assisting practices and be proficient in using medical imaging and technology.
Duties

Assist dental professionals during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Take and record vital signs to monitor patient health before, during, and after treatments.
Utilize 3D scanners for accurate imaging and assist in the preparation of prosthodontic appliances.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Manage patient records using Epic software, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history and treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns they may have.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient flow and support overall clinic operations.

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting practices, including knowledge of medical terminology.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of prosthodontics is advantageous but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
