Job Overview:We are looking for a full time hygienist for our relationship-based dental practice. Under new female ownership, we are looking for someone with a team mentality who is eager to develop relationships with their patients, and to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and identify any signs of periodontal disease or other dental issues- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care- Administer local anesthesia as needed- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and ensuring patient comfort- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation using electronic health record systems- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care
Requirements:- Valid Dental Hygiene license in Missouri- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in using dental software programs for medical documentation- Familiarity with medical imaging technology for capturing dental x-rays- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other dental professionals- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced dental office

Pay: From $44.00 per hour
