Expanded Function Dental Assistant - White Rose Family Dental LLC - York, PA

Overview:
seeking a F/T or P/T EFDA for our brand new, modern, non corporate dental practice.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Place restorations, make temp crowns, place sealants, apply fluoride varnish etc.- Take and develop dental x-rays- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Strong Communication Skills- Experience with Eaglesoft, Digital radiography, intra oral cameras- Familiarity with dental terminology and coding- Ability to work with patients of all age groups- Understanding of infection control practices
