Job OverviewLooking for an experienced, team oriented, reliable dental assistant with an EFDA or radiology certification. Hours are Monday thru Thursday, 6:30 AM to close (4-5 PM). Our office enjoys a great work-life balance, with a four-day workweek, and we love to laugh and have fun.
We are a patient centered office that uses up-to-date equipment and technology. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, and excellent communication skills. We are a family-like team that is searching for the right candidate to fill our dental assistant position. As a small team, each person is important to the office running smoothly and we all work together to achieve the very best for our patients.
Duties

Assist with opening and closing procedures
Prepare patients for dental procedures by taking vital signs and ensuring their comfort
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Assist dentist during procedures by handing him instruments and anticipating their needs
Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral care
Take Dental X-Rays
Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

High school diploma required
Minimum of 1 year experience in a dental office, EFDA, and Radiology Certification
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
Ability to meet OSHA, CDC, ADA and HIPAA standards
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Pay: $22-30 per hour based on experience
