OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including patient check-in and check-out.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry.
Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
Experience with dental software systems, particularly Opendental or similar platforms.
Understanding of medical imaging techniques related to dentistry.
Knowledge of endodontics is a plus but not required.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous.
