OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant, specifically and RDAEF2, to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Manage patient records accurately, including medical histories and treatment plans, using Dentrix.
Perform four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including patient check-in and check-out processes.
Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients.

Skills

Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with knowledge of dental receptionist duties being an advantage.
Familiarity with medical records management systems.
Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry and aseptic technique.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy clinical environment.
A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with attention to detail.
