Job Description
Overview:
Our practice is looking for a skilled and dedicated dental hygienist to join our team. Our ideal fit would be motivated, energetic, have a great work ethic and a team player. Full or part time option available.
Duties:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during examinations- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants- Perform periodontal charting and maintain patient records- Assist with anesthesia administration and monitoring during procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and compliance- Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols- Ability to take vital signs accurately- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus- Understanding of general dentistry procedures and medical coding
