Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
Perform tasks such as taking medical imaging, including X-rays and utilizing 3D scanners.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in Dentrix or other dental management systems.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Monitor vital signs when necessary and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including medical coding and billing processes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure while providing compassionate patient care.
