Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice.

We currently have one hygienist M-W
and
Two hygienists on Friday.
This job is T, W, Th position. Hours are
T: 8-5,
W 8-5,
Th 8-6
Two generals dentists are on T & W
, One general on Thursday - you will hardly ever wait for an exam!
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides as directed by the dentist.
Conduct periodontal therapy and scaling/root planing as necessary.
Ensure all instruments are brought to central sterilization and tray is clean.
Stay updated through your yearly coursework required by State of WA
Skills
Excellent patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues effectively.
Ability to remove calculus and bioflm and stain with cooperation from patient.
Ability to assist in various dental procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $68.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 26 per week
