Job Description
Job SummaryWare Family Dental of Mississippi is in search of a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team to provide high-quality dental care to our patients.
Duties
Perform patient assessment, review medical history, and conduct throughout oral evaluation
Determine the level of care needed for each patient such as routine prophy, full mouth SRP, debridement, etc. and provide the appropriate care needed.
Take radiographs, including bitewings, PAs, and panos
Establish relationships with patients
Provide and promote preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride, and sealants
Educate patients on proper dental home-care techniques
Educate patients on how diet impacts oral health
Maintain accurate documentation using both computer software and paper charting
Comply with infection control protocols
Monitor supplies for the hygiene department
Qualifications
Current Mississippi Hygiene License
CPR certification
HIPAA and infection control knowledge
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Work Location: In person
