Are you passionate about dental care and helping patients achieve their best smiles? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments
Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records
Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
Valid x-ray certification
Highschool diploma or equivalent
CPR certification (preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
Experience taking impressions and pouring models
Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep
Ability to setup and breakdown operatories
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred
