Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our Team. We pride ourselves in providing thorough cleanings and accurate diagnoses of periodontal conditions, maintaining patient records including radiographs and medical histories, and building long lasting relationships with our patients. We strive to provide the best care by recommending Fluoride, Silver Diamine treatments, and Scaling and Root Planing procedures to our patients when necessary, while always evaluating and education patients on current home care effectiveness. Applicants must have a current state license with anesthesia credentials preferred.
Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities:-Gather Medical History and medications-Make Radiographs when necessary (Panoramic, FMS, Bitewing, Peri-Apicals)-Complete Prophylactic, Therapeutic, and Maintenance Cleanings-Thorough Patient education-Complete sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications-Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program-Current New Mexico state license and Radiograph certification-Complete knowledge of dental hygiene procedures-Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques-Excellent communication skills, willing to be a member of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
