Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant II to join our team in providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic dental clinic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace. This role is crucial in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.
Perform medical imaging, including X-rays, while adhering to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and record-keeping.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist with the creation of dental models.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience with dental clinic operations and familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
