Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort during visits. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments using appropriate techniques.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, nutrition, and preventive care.
Assist in the documentation review of patient records and treatment plans.
Monitor vital signs and assess patient health history to provide comprehensive care.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with the dentist in four-handed dentistry procedures during treatments.
Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable experience for children.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry.
Familiarity with medical terminology and infection control practices is essential.
Experience with documentation review and maintaining accurate patient records is highly valued.
Skills in vital signs monitoring and four-handed dentistry will be advantageous.
A background in dental assisting may enhance your qualifications for this role.
