Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care. We are also willing to train someone that has a great personality. All are welcome to apply!
We are implementing a 401k match for full time employees starting early next year.
We end our day at around 2PM on Thursdays. Enjoy the long weekends!
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Perform various office tasks as needed
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience with dental assisting procedures
- Knowledge of Dentrix
- Familiarity with dental/medical coding practices
- Ability to take X-rays and perform dental radiography
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Ability to record vital signs accurately
