Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and patient care, with a strong background in dental assisting and medical documentation.
Responsibilities- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning and scaling- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Epic software- Assist dentists during procedures as needed- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control- Use CAD software for treatment planning
Qualifications- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical documentation- Experience with patient care and dental assisting- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for infection control- Familiarity with Dentrix or Epic software is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $50.00 per hour
