OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist at Clinton Dental Care, you will work collaboratively with the dentist and patient but also have the independence and autonomy, utilizing your expertise in dental terminology and patient care to deliver comprehensive hygiene services.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients, ensuring optimal oral health.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
Utilize medical imaging systems to capture diagnostic images as needed- DEXIS digital radiograph, iTero scanner
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide support during procedures and treatments.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry and best practices for patient care.

Experience

Prior experience preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred but NOT required.
Familiarity with medical imaging systems and techniques.
Strong understanding of patient care protocols and HIPAA compliance.
Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is a plus.
