Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team!
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and provide oral hygiene instructions.
The position will be every Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM. Dentrix software. Beautiful, modern office and ample parking.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth
- Take dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
Experience:
- Proficiency in infection control procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with recording medical history
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
