Responsibilities:
- Provide care for a single column of 8-9 patients per day, performing routine child & adult prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing.- Take radiographs, update medical history, perform periodontal charting and diagnosis, and document patient care accurately.- Work collaboratively with the restorative team, helping with X-rays, anesthesia, co-diagnosis, and other duties as needed.- Maintain a clean and organized sterilization area, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments.- Foster a positive, caring environment for patients, delivering exceptional customer service while prioritizing their oral health.- Assist dental assistants and other hygienists as part of a supportive, team-oriented office culture._________________________________________________________________
Qualifications:
- Required: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license and radiology license in Massachusetts.- Preferred: At least 2 years of clinical experience, although we’re open to new graduates with the right fit.- Preferred: Local anesthesia license.- Must be BLS certified.- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients.- Positive attitude, high moral integrity, and a team-player mindset are essential to our culture.- Experience with OSHA, HIPAA, and sexual harassment training is a plus (training will be provided)._________________________________________________________________
