P/t Dental Assistant needed - Schedule flexible.
We are single provider office; our employees are friendly, funny, hard-working, and family oriented!
Our private practice is seeking a dental assistance to join our dental family located in Parsippany NJ.
The right candidate will be friendly, have an outgoing personality, a positive attitude, high energy, and the ability to multi-task.

*Minimum of 2 years experience. X-ray license preferred.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Set up, break down, sterilize & maintain operatories.
2. Sterilize instruments & equipment according to proper OSHA protocol.
3. Assist dentist in all aspects of dental procedures including but not limited to general assisting, taking impressions, and making temporary crowns.
4. Take high quality digital x-rays.
5. Keep accurate inventory, & order supplies as necessary.
6. Use Dentrix & Dexis to:
** Update/review patients medical history.
** Input charting, treatment plans, clinical notes & update appts as needed.
7. Assist front desk when needed to answer phone, schedule appointments, & provide customer service.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 2 years experience as a dental assistance.
* Excellent communication & people skills.
* Computer skills & attention to detail a must.
* Understand/Implementat OSHA/ADA/CDC health & safety regulations.
* Reliable, well-organized & attention to detail.
* Knowledgeable in all aspects of Dentrix & Dexis.
