Love working with Kids and don't want to break your wrists in a GP office scaling all day long!! Come to a Pediatric Dental office that is in search of a fun, caring hygienist who loves to teach and work with children. Strong emphasis on preventive care and being able to communicate with parents and children. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team in the office and outside in the community. We are not a corporation, just an office that wants to do good for our families.
Necessary job requirements:- Provide professional quality care to the patients- Educate parents and patients in proper oral hygiene- Provide prophylaxis, scaling, digital x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures- Dental Charting and familiarity with using a computer- Willing to speak at schools/day cares as well as participate at community events to promote the practice- Team player in helping with other duties necessary in the office as needed- Professional manner and appearance at all times
Qualifications required:- Hygienist license for state of Maryland and current CPR- Fun, outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and be able to twist, turn, bend and stoop.
Preferred qualifications:- Spanish fluency but not a necessity
Position:Full Time (Mon 8:30-5:30p, T,W,Thur - 7:30-4:30p w/ hour lunch break and F -7:30am-2pm)Part Time (Mon 8:30a-5:30p and Tues or Wed - 7:30-4:30p w/ hour lunch break and Friday 7:30am-2pm)- Ability to be prompt for work hours is critical- $/hr depending on experience level and qualifications
