Job Description

Our office is seeking a part-time dental hygienist for Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. We are a growing and loving pediatric office located in Darien, CT. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable team member to grow with us.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Greeting patients/positive attitude
Provide oral hygiene and preventive dental care
Educating patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques
Applying fluoride treatments
Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked at all times
Taking radiographs
Maintain accurate patient records
Screening patients during checkups
Reviewing a patient’s dental history
Scheduling patient appointments
Being a team player if other tasks are needed around the office
