Job Description
Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Location: Bowie, MD
Position Type: Full-time/Part-time

Our growing practice offers a wide range of dental services, focusing on patient comfort and quality care. We are currently seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients. We have flexible hours and days for part time or full time (preferred) hygienists.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning
2. Conduct periodontal evaluations and preventive care procedures
3. Take digital x-rays and assist with dental charting
4. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care
5. Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed
6. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care
7. Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
8. Build rapport with patients to ensure a positive and comfortable experience
Qualifications:
1. Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
2. Active license to take X-rays in the state of Maryland
3. Anesthesia administration license is a plus, but not a must.
4. Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and equipment
5. Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach
6. Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively
Benefits:
1. Very competitive salary $110,000 to $135,000
