Job OverviewLakeshore Family Dental Care is a privately-owned dental practice seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and promote oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
We provide 60 minutes for recare appointments with a a focus on prevention. Our periodontal program allows adequate time for personalized care. We offer a supportive work place where our team members have a sincere desire to help each other reach their full potential. Our team takes pride in providing a positive environment and experience for all our patients.

Schedule
Part-time/Full-time - 2, 3 or 4 days per week
Monday - 8:30am-5:00pm, Tuesday - 10:00am-8:00pm, Thursday - 8:30am-5:30pm, Friday - 8:00-2:00pm
Responsibilities
Establish a calming environment to make patients feel comfortable.
Maintain high standards of sterilization for dental instruments.
Carry out comprehensive initial mouth screenings and check oral health history.
Review and update digital x-rays and maintain patient records and charts.
Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims.
Administer local anesthetic.
Preform dental prophylaxis and root planing.
Maintain dental equipment.
Place fluoride varnish and sealants
Have a team mindset to help others as needed.
Qualifications- Certification in Dental Hygiene- Proficiency in dental assisting, vital signs, and four-handed dentistry- Knowledge of general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and dental office procedures
