Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and gentle Dental Hygienist to join our dental team for a 1, 2, 3, or 4-day position (Monday through Thursday, 8:15-5:15). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in educating patients on oral health.
Duties- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients.- Utilize Softdent system to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.- Maintain accurate medical records and document patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes.- Conduct medical imaging procedures as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience- Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred but not necessary- Familiarity with medical coding and anatomy knowledge is advantageous.- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Softdent is preferred but not necessary- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are essential.- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
