Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive oral health services. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings and apply preventive materials to patients' teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the dental office.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software, including medical coding and terminology.
Adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe treatment environment for all patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve office efficiency.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficient knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Experience with patient care in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with DTX software
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to perform vital signs assessments and understand medical terminology.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique in all procedures.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
