Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. In our Salt Lake office on Tuesday & Thursday. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care.
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental x-rays- Make impressions of patients' teeth for study casts
Qualifications:- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and various dental procedures- Familiarity with medical documentation, medical records, and HIPAA regulations- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques- Strong understanding of infection control practices
Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience in medical imaging and digital radiography- Proficiency in using dental software for charting and scheduling- Understanding of dental insurance processes and billing procedures
