We are seeking a part-time, dedicated and skilled dental hygienist to join our general dentistry office at Riverside Dental Clinic and fill our retiring hygienist's position. Our office is open 3 days a week 8a-5p or 9a-5p and is seeking a hygienist to work one day a week, with an optional, occasional second day. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, working closely with both patients and dental professionals to promote overall dental health. *Responsibilities*
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
- Perform dental cleanings, ultrasonic, scaling, and root planing procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
- Collaborate with dentist and dental assistant to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Be a team player
*Skills*
- Have current hygiene license
- Have current CPR certification
- Strong skills in patient assessment and care, with a focus on preventive dentistry.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health needs.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a clinical setting.
