Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Manage patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy in medical terminology.
Perform dental imaging and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
Provide support in various dental specialties, including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatrics.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as a dental receptionist when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and waiting room.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of medical records management systems and familiarity with dental software is advantageous.
Proficiency in aseptic technique and understanding of general dentistry practices.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
